
Dr. Christopher P. Neck is currently an Associate Professor of Management at Virginia Tech, where he teaches a management practices course to a single class of over 1,000 students at Virginia Tech. Chris completed his Ph.D. in Management at Arizona State University and received his M.B.A. from Louisiana State University. He has received numerous teaching awards, while at Virginia Tech.
Chris’s research specialties include employee/executive fitness, self-leadership, leadership, group decision-making processes, and self-managing teams. He has authored 5 books, as well as over eighty publications in scholarly journals.

Due to Chris' expertise in management, he has been cited in numerous national publications including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The Houston Chronicle, and the Chicago Tribune.
Outside of Chris' professional interests, he is also a dedicated runner and has completed 12 marathons.
